Mutual Fund Distribution Services
Purpose and commitment. Parami Financial Services Private Limited is committed to fair, prompt and transparent handling of complaints relating to its mutual fund distribution activities. We record each grievance, examine it objectively, keep the investor informed and assist the concerned Asset Management Company or Registrar and Transfer Agent when their action is required.
Scope. This policy applies only to services provided by Parami in its capacity as an AMFI registered Mutual Fund Distributor.
What may be raised as a grievance
An investor may raise a complaint about any aspect of Parami’s mutual fund distribution or servicing activity, including:
- Mis-selling, an unsuitable sales practice, an incomplete or misleading disclosure, or conduct of a representative.
- Delay or error in forwarding a transaction or service request submitted through Parami.
- Incorrect broker code or EUIN, unauthorised transaction concerns, or a discrepancy in instructions handled by Parami.
- Delay in providing scheme documents, commission disclosures or other material information.
- Service quality, communication, privacy or handling of investor information.
- Failure to assist with an AMC or RTA matter connected with an investment distributed through Parami.
Service request or query. A request for information, a routine account-service request or a suggestion is handled as a service request unless the investor states dissatisfaction or alleges a deficiency. Parami will reclassify the matter as a grievance when appropriate.

Our grievance handling process
| Step |
Stage |
Action |
| 1 |
Registration |
We record the complaint in the grievance register and assign an internal reference. |
| 2 |
Acknowledgement |
We aim to acknowledge the grievance within two business days and identify any information needed for examination. |
| 3 |
Assessment and ownership |
The matter is assigned to a person who was not solely responsible for the disputed action, wherever practicable. Conflicts are escalated. |
| 4 |
Investigation |
We review transaction records, communications and applicable scheme or operational documents. If the issue concerns an AMC, RTA, exchange platform or another service provider, we promptly forward the matter and follow up. |
| 5 |
Response |
We aim to provide a reasoned response or resolution within 15 business days. If a matter is complex or depends on another entity, we provide a status update and an expected next step. |
| 6 |
Closure |
We close the grievance after communicating the outcome and retaining the supporting record. The investor may escalate the matter if dissatisfied. |
No charge. Parami does not charge an investor for lodging or pursuing a grievance under this policy.

Escalation outside Parami
Concerned AMC or RTA. For matters such as unit allotment, NAV application, account statement, redemption proceeds, dividend or income-distribution payment, KYC status, nomination, transmission or folio records, the concerned AMC or its RTA is generally the entity responsible for the record or transaction. The investor may contact the AMC or RTA directly using the contact and escalation details in the Scheme Information Document, Statement of Additional Information, account statement or official AMC website. Parami will provide reasonable assistance.
AMFI. A complaint concerning the conduct of an AMFI registered Mutual Fund Distributor, including alleged mis-selling or misconduct, may also be brought to AMFI through its official contact facility at www.amfiindia.com/contact.
SEBI SCORES. SCORES is SEBI’s online grievance redressal facilitation platform for complaints against SEBI regulated entities. An investor should first take up the grievance with the concerned entity. If the complaint relates to an AMC, Mutual Fund or another SEBI regulated entity and remains unresolved, the investor may lodge it at scores.sebi.gov.in. The investor should select the correct regulated entity and complaint category.
Online Dispute Resolution. Where eligible, an investor may use the securities-market Online Dispute Resolution mechanism for conciliation or arbitration at smartodr.in. Use of SCORES or ODR is governed by the applicable SEBI framework and does not prevent an investor from pursuing other remedies available under law.
Fair handling and confidentiality
- A grievance is assessed on its facts and records without retaliation against the investor.
- Investor information is shared internally and with the concerned AMC, RTA, platform, AMFI, SEBI or other authority only to the extent reasonably required for investigation, resolution or legal compliance.
- Employees and representatives must cooperate with the investigation and preserve relevant records.
- A complaint involving an employee or representative is escalated to an independent senior person wherever practicable.
Records, monitoring and policy review
Parami maintains a grievance register recording the date received, investor details, issue category, owner, actions taken, communications, escalation, resolution and closure date. Open complaints are monitored until closure. Management periodically reviews complaint themes, ageing and root causes and implements corrective action where a control or service weakness is identified.
This policy is reviewed at least annually and earlier when an applicable SEBI or AMFI requirement, business process or escalation channel changes. The version displayed on Parami’s website is the current public version.
